Being asked to mind conventionally expected social p's n q's while clothing such socially/politically/cultically motivated rules in a sacred costume of "religious and spiritual discipline" is counterproductive to the necessary form of relationally open hearted, reflective, honest, straight, direct and accountably transparent Process in Bright Reality that is radical self- understanding.
If there are bureaucrats or a bureaucracy involved, go ahead and call it bureaucratic. This adjective is used in a negative (critical) sense to describe a person or organization more concerned with following procedures than being guided by common sense.
Organizational over structuring, (including roles, org charts and lines of communication) in an environment of hierarchical subjugation, bureaucratizing, codifying, ritualizing and ceremony define the manner in which devotees are being obliged to function; "or else" the hammer or sword falls.
This places conditionally secondary functional mechanisms as "principle, primary or most fundamental". This is what Bright Adi Da calls a beginning consumers religion business, cultically self protective, turned in on itself, self protective and secretive. He indicated that this manner of functioning was what enclosed him and stopped his ability to Work. Thus he left his body.
The unhandled beginners business that he indicated as being rampant around him, is now evermore secured in a very tightly defined and required mode of "sacred" bureaucracy, management, ritualized ceremony with socially conventional expectations of functioning thrown in the mix.
None of this can be spoken about openly and freely and naturally. This "unhandled business" (no accountability) is continuing to be swept aside, officially now ignored and festering (closeted behind closed doors) in an unhealthy environment of cultic insider/outsider conflicted suppression.
Devotionally intimate life, devotional groups and town meetings are not functioning in a manner that enable True and Real effective radical self- understanding that shows the signs of ego self/other patterning having been observed, understood, new action responsibly agreed upon and replaced by transformative "right action". Simply living the form and disciplines is not "right life/ action".
Telling devotees not to speak aloud and openly about "the elephant in the room" is not handling unhandled business. In fact, this egoically and politically motivated (not religiously or spiritually auspicious at all) suppression creates an imbalanced and unhealthy environment. This is the same environment Adi Da SHOUTED about until he dropped his body.
This SHOUT is now suppressed by the functionaries who are conducting management, rituals and ceremonies in an uninspired and unhappy, causal and rote manner. Doing all of this while simultaneously feeling they are actually true to heart and in service to Adi Da and his Gifts to all of humanity and the world. This is heart breaking to observe and feel.
Bureaucratic attitude refers to attitude possessed by the bureaucrats who roll out policies and schemes, keeping in focus the targeted section and once the law or rule is brought out, there is no flexibility in terms of relaxation in norms, to anyone.
Any honest, observably real (with evidence), necessary criticism and challenging of "Adidam" and the "authorities" is considered "polemic speech" and is now banned.

Broccoli is a disgusting vegetable whose existence is the bane of all children's lives. Those who believe it is a delicious and healthy food are wrong. It is a foul, appalling thing that should be banned from being sold or grown under any circumstances.
